Canada Day 2012 a phenomenal success
With thanks to volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors, entertainers, and great weather, more than 38,000 Londoners attended Canada Day festivities in Harris Park.

War of 1812 Speaker Series
Guest speaker,
Mr. Rick Hill, provided a First Nations' perspective of events leading to the War of 1812, the conflict, treaty and outcomes. His presentation was well received with many questions. Thank you to our sponsors and to London Public Library for hosting the event.

Queen's Diamond Jubilee
This year marks the sixtieth anniversary since Queen Elizabeth ascended to the throne. London paid tribute to Her Majesty at a special concert in
Victoria Park on Sunday June 3rd.

London's own Jaclyn Miles is Miss Canada 2012. Jaclyn is teamed up with London Celebrates Canada and shall act as co-Master of Ceremony at this year's Canada Day celebration in Harris Park.

London Celebrates Canada was at the Community Booth in Masonville Place on Saturday, 11 February to distribute hand-held Canadian Flags to more than 1750 children and replace official size Canadian Flags to Londoners that brought in their worn and tired flag.
